ok so being incarcerated is Nothing New to shanon

when shan is Yung (15-16) after juvie she is on probation she prolly has to do community service too and she is a horrible person when she workin at a thrift store for her hrs she like.... steals shit from it oop

she got arrested 4 shopliftin when she was a teen which is the reason for bein to juvie and then community service, she is a dealer n a user too but she never gets caught w/ drugs YET i think at some point she does get caught violatin her probation tho.... n she gets sent 2 juvie again (when she 17) n i think its bc of drugs , like she fails her drug test???

n after she spend time in juvie she gets community service at A MORGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where one lesser known character comes in finally lmao

she can communicate with spirits n she hates it n she especially hates that the whole place is Dead People, the way spirits present themselves to her is by appearing as ordinary people so she doesnt rly KNOW at first if they are alive or not so she second guesses everyone it fucks her up a lot, but like witches n shit "dont exist" to the majority of people so she just gets written off as "Crazy" most the time

omg so i had a fun conversation with my friend about how shanon and her grandmother would do witch shit in prison and all the ways they would improvise, like makeshift witch altars to put curses on people (tho this would entirely be hilda's doing, as shanon does not want any part of this!!!! but gets dragged into it anyway because her grandmother is not going to stand by and let her just not use her powers or aid her in spells!!!!!)

so making something like this:

like i can see how they'd make this in prison, like tampons (NOT USED.. ) and straws instead of sticks, tiny tea light candles (prolly smuggled in by angel tho, along with other Herbs n Ingredients), the dishes would probably be from like, cups idk shanon still works in the kitchen so hilda would make use of that as well and

like i can see if someone fucked with hilda and she needed BLOOD to use in a spell to put a curse on them (LMAO OR MAYBE SHE WANTS TO CURSE HER SON FROM IN THERE if she found out it was him who turned her in) she will prolly take shanons hand and cut her without really telling her she's going to, because shanon hates doin black magic and would not willingly help her with that, but her grandma makes her participate cos she thinks she should learn

like i had this whole scenario really clearly in my head where, idk hilda prolly makes shanon set all this up in the kitchen when no one is in there and she is all like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what are u doing and hilda, because she is her, does what she wants and shanon is all super paranoid because she is not going to THE HOLE for this and tells her to hurry up whatever, and hilda is putting it together and is like lemme see ur hand and shanon stupidly holds it out for her like why and then she cuts her, idk like obviously she could use her own blood but i think its just the fact that she wants shanon to be subservient to her that she uses her's (they are blood related so they can do this) all of this AGGRAVATES shanon very much

i think it would be funny that despite all of hilda's efforts none of this even works because of the way government buildings are probably structured to inhibit magic abilities?????? like idk i imagine something like that being a thing, nobody probably even actually realises it tho its just "an old superstition" (like think salt rings and how its supposed to keep magic n evil spirits away, except there can be a thing that actually DOES within the walls of buildings) idk im trying to think of something because most people dont even believe in witches or magic so idk, like even tho angel's auntie was a witch, she practiced santeria alongside it and idt he knew she was actually a witch and he probably just thinks hilda is like his aunt because he recognizes some of the things shanon asks for which is why he'd probably make fun of her and be like "u tryin to do some witchcraft lmao"
