shanondump of random shit i thought of!
ok so being incarcerated is Nothing New to shanon
when shan is Yung (15-16) after juvie she is on probation she prolly has to do community service too and she is a horrible person when she workin at a thrift store for her hrs she like.... steals shit from it oop
she got arrested 4 shopliftin when she was a teen which is the reason for bein to juvie and then community service, she is a dealer n a user too but she never gets caught w/ drugs YET i think at some point she does get caught violatin her probation tho.... n she gets sent 2 juvie again (when she 17) n i think its bc of drugs , like she fails her drug test???
n after she spend time in juvie she gets community service at A MORGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where one lesser known character comes in finally lmao
"shanon is pretty basic about her powers, she is able to do all of the general manipulation spells, but nothing too outrageous, she is very clairvoyant but tends to suppress those powers as it scares her and she doesn’t like to believe what she sees, she is a “medium” and is able to communicate with spirits and visit what could be compared to “purgatory” while “dreaming”, its more like a meditation that is sometimes involuntary but she doesn’t know that and she was very young when all of this came about and he is still trying to understand it all and he doesn’t know why HER
she is able to communicate with the spirits there that are kind of lost in between, her necromancy powers are a bit more complicated as again, she was very young when she was discovered to have this power, and while she DOES have much stronger untapped powers that could potentially bring a person to life, she doesn’t realise this, and the most he can do with this power is bring plants to life or grow things in infertile soil (SHES KIND OF LIKE MISTY DAY IN AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN IF HE REALLY WANTED TO BE OK LMAO), her only restriction is herself, her fear of using her powers and the fact that magic, to the majority of the population isn’t “real” and she is terrified of someone knowing he has it, she’s also never been able to communicate with her birth mother or even find her in “purgatory” which furthers her frustration about her powers because she doesn’t understand why she is able to do all of this but cant even see her own mom (i havnt rly thought of a reason yet SHRUG it just aint gonna happen)
basically, and the short reason is: is it really fucks with shanon's head to imagine actually bringing a human being or even an animal back to life? like the concept is horrifying to her and not something she would want to do even "just to see what would happen" there is also a moral thing there with her where she doesn't think that the dead should be messed around with and that they should stay in rest that is why shanon has never tried to bring a person back to life and has 0 interest in doing so"

she can communicate with spirits n she hates it n she especially hates that the whole place is Dead People, the way spirits present themselves to her is by appearing as ordinary people so she doesnt rly KNOW at first if they are alive or not so she second guesses everyone it fucks her up a lot, but like witches n shit "dont exist" to the majority of people so she just gets written off as "Crazy" most the time
